Connect VCC to 5V DC and GND to ground.

Apply a trigger pulse of at least 10µs to the TRIG pin.

The ECHO output may reach 5V. Use a voltage divider or suitable logic-level converter when connecting it to 3.3V microcontrollers such as the ESP32.
